Overview
PropLytics is a web application that enables real estate investors to evaluate properties through structured financial data and analytics. During rapid growth, I translated complex investment metrics into clear interfaces, managed multi-step user journeys, and maintained visual cohesion across devices. My role evolved from shipping MVP features to building a scalable design system that improved consistency and development efficiency. Close collaboration with sales, data, and development teams was essential to align client needs, financial accuracy, and technical feasibility into a reliable, scalable product.
Problem
Investors struggle to find reliable, complete data and to compare properties and markets effectively.
Contraints
Rapid growth increased complexity amid limited design resources. Dense financial data required clarity without oversimplification, while maintaining consistency without slowing development.
Goals
Establish a scalable design system to standardize components, improve hierarchy, and speed up design–dev collaboration while increasing user trust.
Outcome
The implementation of a comprehensive design system transformed the platform from fragmented MVP-style screens into a cohesive, scalable product. Standardized components, layout structures, and visual rules streamlined collaboration between design and development, increasing internal efficiency. Externally, the improved clarity and consistency strengthened user trust and positioned the platform for continued product growth.
